Chillin in Toronto...

So here I sit in Toronto Pearson Airport.... still have around 45 mins till Boarding time.... Been sitting in this airport for a good 3 and a half hours now... Just waiting till 8:10 to board... then I'm off to Moncton cuz they couldn't get me a flight to PEI till 2morrow night.. which is super lame!!! Not Impressed... First my first flight was delayed 2 hours,, then they told me that the plane in Toronto would wait for us, cuz there was 13 of us from Edmonton who were going to PEI... then once we landed in toronto, they said the flight had left, and we had to stay at a hotel for the night, and fly out the same time 2morrow afternoon... but that was bullshit, there was no way I could wait all the way till the next day to get a flight to PEI... So they said the closest they could do was fly  me to Moncton,, with no transportation to PEI... so I called Em, and saw if she could give me a lift... she agreed, so I set that up.., and the stupid assholes at Westjet only gave me 20 bucks for supper,... so yeah, needlesss to say I was not happy with what happened... so I was kinda a dick to all the agents I dealt with... but I don't give a shit,,, they really fucked up this time.... Anyway,,, so I've been sitting by my port to my plane for the past hour,,,, Spent a good few hours in a restaurant having a nice steak and fries,,, along with a good 4 double rum and cokes... so needlesss to say, I've got a goood clow on.... Just hope I can stay awake till my flight leaves... doing pretty good so far... watched 3 episodes of The League... so glad I dowloaded that this past weekend... definetly kept my attention for the past while.... so yeah, now I'm just gonna sit an chill for the next hour or so... hope that boarding starts early for my flight... Then yeah,, ,supposed to land at 11:40 PM 2night.,., Emily is going to pick me up there, then we'll drive to the cottage for the night.... Its gonna be one long ass day!!! I got up this morning at 5:30,,, after going to bed at like 3:30... so I'm running off 2 hours sleep,,, ,Could not sleep on the last plane for the life of me... I was so tired,, but I still coud not sleep,,, not sure what was up,, but yeah, I'm starting to feel it now... Super tired.... just trying to stay awake till I get on the plan,,, then once I'm on and in my seat, I'm just crash!!!! Hopefully anyway.,,,  We'll see... but yeah, for now , I think I have enough time to watch one more episode of the league,,, then I'm just gonna wait around till my flight leaves.... So yeah, till the next time,,, maybe later 2night, but ya never know....

Wednesday

So,,, Wednesday now.... only 2 more sleeps till I fly back home... getting pretty friggen excited. I gotta say...  Although there has been some issues come up in the past few days, its nothing we can't get by.... finer details kinda stuff,,,  But yeah, we`re still stoked to see each other this friday.... man the next week is going to be so busy!!! I`ve got a lot of shit to take care of... Gotta get my groomsmen some wedding gifts, get my tux, marriage license, rehersals, writing and finishing my vows, ..., Just a bunch of stuff... then yeah, the actual wedding next saturday... so yeah,, it should be a good tirp home, I`m really looking forward to it... I highly doubt I`ll be able to write in this much, but I`ll try whenever I can,,, Keep my vacation documented as best I can... it would be sweet to write in once a day again,, just quick updates and such... but yeah, for now I`m gonna have a quick smoke, then off to bed,, hopefuly sleep off this headache I`ve been dealing with for the day,,, Then 2morrow I`m off to a crane and riggin course,,, Gibby is supposed to pick me up tomorrow morning at quarter to 8,,,, this should be an interesting drive.... hahaha, Gibby is like a border line alcoholic from Ireland,,, so he`s pretty fun/funny to talk to.... So yeah, with that, I'm gonna head out for now,, so till the next time...

4 more days till I get to go home....

So here it is monday night..... I fly back home to PEI on friday morning at 8 AM... I am so stoked!!! Not just to see Emily,and all my friends, and having my bachelor party, getting married, and partying after....  But just to be back home for a bit.. its sad, but I'm starting to miss it a bit already... Like don't get me wrong, I like it out here and everything,,, but time changes,,, and now that I've been working at this place for a while, I'm starting to see the politics.... and it sucks...  Thats kinda the nice thing about starting a new job; you have no opinions, or judgements towards anyway,, everything is just new,,, but once you work there for a while, you find out who the lazy ppl are,, what ppl to stay away from,,, what ppl you can't tell what to,... all these little things,,,, and I'm starting to get into that stage... it sucks a lot... like I still try my best to stay out of everything,,, I stay in my booth, and only come out for breaks and lunch,, try not to talk to anyone as much as I can,,,, but still I manage to get pulled into stuff,,, I guess it has to come eventually,,, but yeah, work is going ok now I guess,, I'm just looking forward to this "vacation"....  
So yeah,,, I fly to PEI on Friday,,, arrive at 6 pmish.... Emily and I are gonna go for thai food, then head to the cottage,,, have a nice relaxing first night back.... Then saturday is my bachelor party!!! so we're going paintballin at 2 I guess,,, then I'm not sure whats going on after that... haha, I guess thats most likely the point, but yeah, I have no idea whats happenin,,, what crazy things Dave has planned, if any,,, which I'm sure he does.... I just hope shit doesn't get too crazy!!    Then yeah, not sure exactly the specifics on the whole next week,,, all I really know is we're getting our marriage licenses on monday,,, having our rehersal dinner on friday,,  then get married saturday afternoon(hopefully outside), then party all night... till 1 am, then Emily are outta there! staying at a cottage someplace,,, then I think the plan is to start driving the next day around supper time,,, drive for 3ish hours, then camp our first night.....   which would be soooooo awesome!!!!!  Then yeah, long drive the next day, till we get to Tony's place... now we're not sure if we wanna stay there the night, or drive another 4or so hours till we get to Emilys sisters place...  whichever happens is cool.... then the next day we drive 3/4 the way to thunder bay, and camp at a sweet spot there(apparently), then drive to thunderbay the net day, and do a bunch of hiking and exploring where Emily went to school last year.... Then the next day I think we're driving all the way to Manitoba, and maybe seeing Jeff? but thats not for sure yet either,,,,, if not, we'll find  a place to camp that night,,, then straight to Edmonton the next day,,,   Thats the rough plan for now anyway,,, we'll see what ends up happening....
Anyway,,, I just went off on a long rant there,,,, now its time to calm the fingers down....    So yeah,, onto some serious matters,,,, this whole getting married thing... wow... its kinda coming up fast now....,,, I know I'm not really ready yet,,, with all the stuff that I need to do, but yeah,, its crazy how fast this came,,, I remember even a few weeks ago how it seemed soooo far away,,,,, shit I still didn't get my groomsmen their wedding gift yet.... not even to sure what I'm gonna get,,, I have a few ideas,,, but they aren't that cool of gifts I don't think... I wanted to get somethign awesome... but all the guys are pretty different,, so its hard to get one thing for everyone,,,, uhhh, soo difficult...
Anyway,, I still have to have a shower,,, then I'm off to an early sleep,,, and Cory is driving me to work 2morrow,,, thats gonna be fantastic!!!!  Alright, till the next time...

wednesday night

So here it is on Wednesday night,,, I'm just sitting at the edge of the living room to the patio having a smoke,,,, getting ready for bed.... It was an ok day today... I didn't really accomplish much at work,,, but it didn't really matter... I think I'm starting to finally adopt their slow working attitude... like I'm actually taking as much time as they think I should take... lol,,, like today,,, I could have easily finished those 3 wear rings, 2 throat bushings, and that one rework wear ring.... but then I wouldn't have anything to do tomorrow.... so I left the 2 big wear rings for tomorrow morning.... gives me something to do first thing..... So yeah, then after work, I came home,,, talked to Emily for a short bit.... then watched an episode of sons of anarchy... getting crazy now... episode 9 of season 3.
Anyway.... I realised at work today that this is my last weekend here before I go back home.... man that's coming a lot faster that I thought it would.... I knew it would kick into high gear at the 2 week mark,,, but now it just seems ridiculously close.... tomorrow is thursday.....  then friday I get rides to work with cory, and the days are usually interesting,,,,,  saturday sunday will be my last sleep in days in the king sized bed alone..... wow.... thats crazy.......  Then yeah, 4 days next week and I'm off to PEI on a plane friday morning at 8 AM.....   Its going to be a crazy time!!!!  But yeah, like Emily said, we are going to do so many things in the next month.... like one month from now, so much will have happened!!!, I'm going to try to write in this once a day during my entire trip to PEI,, and as much as I can on the drive back out here....  which should also be an awesome time!!!!  but yeah, thats time to come,,,, I should be updating about times that have passed.... but maybe another time,,, its getting to my bed time now... so I should be leaving,,, so with that.. I'm gone....
